Pulse of the Place samba drumming band is part of A.R.Ts Afternoon SCIO; Charity no SC045057
At the end of 2014, A.R.Ts Afternoon applied to Creative Scotland's Youth Music Initiative Programme with the aim of starting up a series of Drum Clubs. The funding bid was successful and in April 2015 the project kicked off. By June the project was on course having established 3 Drum Clubs. In November 2015, 69 young people performed together under the Pulse banner at Edinburgh Light Night.
