Katie has recently joined the committee in the last 6 months. She has previously worked as a primary school teacher which she thoroughly enjoyed. Supporting and caring for children in a safe and secure environment, where they can reach their full potential is one of the greatest privileges you can be part off. Katie is a dedicated carer to her daughter and also looked after her father full time when her mother died. Currently she also helps and supports her elderly aunt with day to day tasks.

For leisure Katie is extremely artistic always finding new projects, current favourites including sculpture, painting and crocheting . Always willing to try new creative disciplines and hopes to share her enthusiasm of the arts with the team. She also worked as a fashion designer for over 20 years and was able to travel and work in North Africa.

Katie is very passionate about children’s mental and wellbeing so was thrilled to have this opportunity to participate in somthing so worth while ,and looking forward to taking on more responsibility to such an important cause and a great organisation
